BOARD CHAIRPERSON: PROFESSOR ROGER NANFOSSO
Professor Roger Nanfosso is a Board Member of AICC. After studying at the University of Yaounde (Cameroon), the University of Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand (France) and the Katholieke Universiteit of Leuven (Belgium), Roger Tsafack Nanfosso holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economic Policy Management, a Ph.D. in Business Economics and a Doctorate of State (Advanced PhD) in Economic Sciences, and was ranked first at the Aggregation Contest in Economics in 2001. He is Knight of the French Academic Palms and Cameroon National Value Order.
Professor Nanfosso is a Professor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Yaounde II and works as a lecturer and consultant in many international universities and institutions in Africa and Europe. He is author and co-author of a dozen books and half-hundred articles published in Africa, Europe, America and China.
Professor Nanfosso is also Director of the Centre for Research in Applied Microeconomics (REMA), Director of the Economic Policy Management (EPM) Training Program of the University of Yaounde II, Member of a dozen of scientific societies including the American Economic Association (AEA), member of the Scientific or Writing Committee of a dozen of International Journals, Secretary of the “Economics and Management” Chamber of the Cameroonian Society of Agreges (SCA) and member of the Strategic Studies Group (SSG) and External Reference Group (ERG) of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).
In addition, he is Vice-Chair of the Francophone Association of Development Studies (AFED), Chairman of the Circle of Economic Thought of Cameroonian Entrepreneurs Association (GICAM) (CREG) and Coordinator of the Network of the Researchers in Management of Francophone Economics (REGEFE ). Areas of expertise include economics, finance, microeconomics, capacity building, corporate management and economic policy management.
