National Integrity Platform is a civil society anti-corruption initiative implemented through a program that is being jointly coordinated by African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) and Malawi Economic Justice Network (MEJN) with technical assistance from Transparency International. NIP is one of the outputs from a project (National Integrity System support project which was funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).
The main objectives of the program include the following:
- Ensuring a corrupt-free Malawi in all spheres of endeavor where people and institutions act with integrity, accountability and transparency.
- Seeking to promoting, protecting and preserving best socio-moral standards and practices in business and politics at both national and international levels
- Taking actions to combat corruption and preventing criminal activities arising from corruption so as to help building a society in which government, politics, business civil society and daily lives of people are free of corruption.
